Marc Digesti and Dr. Naomi Albertson
Naomi Albertson, MD, is board certified in Family Medicine and specializes in Sports Medicine. She received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, and completed her internship in family medicine at California's Loma Linda University Hospital. She completed her family medicine residency and fellowship in Sports Medicine at San Jose Medical Center/Stanford University.
Dr. Albertson is part of Reno Orthopedic Center's sports team, treating emergent and non-emergent injuries, overuse injuries, sport-related nutritional problems, concussion management, and bone health. She works to develop safe and effective personalized exercise programs to improve athletic performance or restore normal function following injury or surgery.
Additionally, Dr. Albertson is passionate about musculoskeletal performance, maximizing strength and minimizing injury. She is certificated by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry and has developed the first bone-health supplement to address both bone health and muscle strength. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Albertson has worked in private practice in California’s Bay Area, rural Idaho, and Jackson, WY. She began practicing at the Reno Orthopedic Center in 2013.
