Bottoms up Kettlebell Press
Plateauing on the press! Maybe it's time to test your single arm stability in some new planes of motion! We here at Performance EDU like to challenge the press by taking a kettlebell BOTTOMS UP! In this video you'll see coach Dale Press horizontally, laterally and vertically to test his stability for deficits from one side to the other. By pressing with the bell facing upward, you're going to be challenging the rotator cuff musculature to stabilize the bell and not let it fall. Start small with the weight and test each of these planes of motion to see where you're lacking from one side to the other. Then train the deficit until it feels similar in control, strength and endurance from one side to the other. You may just find yourself hitting new personal bests!
